Synopsis:
Saturday mornings would never be the same again when in 1974 ATV launched a children's TV show which broke every rule in the book... Tiswas! Previously well-behaved children were positively encouraged to act like monsters... Previously sane presenters were reduced to a state of lunacy... For seven years Chris Tarrant, Bob Carolgees, Sally James, Lenny Henry, John Gorman and Spit the Punk Dog gleefully orchestrated a morning of mayhem and madness. Major rock stars and top comedians would willingly subject themselves to the humiliation of 'Compost Corner', 'The Cage', The Dying Fly' and the diabolical ambushes from "The Phantom Flan Flinger". As Churchill may have put it- " Never in the field of Television have so few people dispersed so much water to so many!" Relive those moments with this compilation of extraordinarily silly bits. Remember there's a 'Bucketeer' in all of us... you know it makes sense... sort of!

A Saturday morning kids program, whose title was variously an acronym for 'This Is Saturday, What A Show!', 'Today Is Saturday, Wear A (or Wake-up And) Smile!', and 'This Is Saturday, Watch And Suffer!'. Classic cartoons were interspersed with wild, anarchic skits about Flan, and special appearances by then-hot pop stars.
