Synopsis:

Monica Barrett is attractive, highly intelligent, and she is the youngest Federal Judge in the country. Also, she is on the President's shortlist to fill the new Supreme Court vacancy, a position coveted by every judge in the nation. Despite all of this, Monica Barrett is lonely, a widow - and it's San Francisco, one of the most romantic cities in the world. Why would an attractive, intelligent woman - who is in line for a position on the most powerful courts in the world - risk her entire career on a romantic dalliance? When her lover, Jack, a handsome, 35 year old "writer" turns out to be a male prostitute, "Judicial Indiscretion" becomes an intriguing film about blackmail, sexual intrigue and murder.

Monica Barrett (played by Anne Archer) is a widow and a respected judge with a daughter in her late twenties. After she is nominated to the United States Supreme Court she meets Jack Sullivan (Michael Shanks), a charismatic Irishman who claims to be an up and coming writer. The truth is far different, and more frightening. A criminal and psychopath, Jack turns Monica's much-needed holiday into a nightmare. Monica must make a tough choice - to keep the incident a secret, or to risk making it public - and must determine whether Jack's actions are the random act of a psychopath or just part of a much larger political agenda.
