Synopsis:

As the leader of an elite street crimes task force squad, New Orleans Detective Sean Reilly (Johnny Strong) has seen the worst violence the city has to offer. Life and death are never more than a breath away and it's sending him over the edge. Assigned by his commanding officer Captain Trahan (Tom Berenger) to an unsolved gangland killing, Reillys investigations lead him directly to his childhood friend Colin (Sean Patrick Flanery) who appears to be at the centre of the crime. Against heavy political pressure and deadly forces breathing down his neck, Sean Reilly is forced into a desperate race against the clock, and a brutal confrontation with his darkest fears.

In the lawless wasteland of post-Katrina New Orleans, beleaguered detective, Sean Riley, is trying to cope with the death of his young son and the abandonment his wife. Facing a probable suspension from the department due to his erratic and violent behavior, Riley is reassigned to help solve a series of brutal murders that have plunged the city into a major gang war. Teamed with a young homicide detective, Will Ganz, the two quickly realize there is something far more sinister going on than either could have ever imagined.
