German observational comic Michael Mittermeier's 2008 standup album Safari features his unique take on Germany and the German people, as well as such bits as "Buschflieger," "Supernanny Bavariae," "Kilmawandel in Bayern," and others.

In February 2008 he released his CD 'Safari' and in November 2008 the appropriate DVD 'Safari'; the Show recorded at 'Zirkus Krone' / Munich, was also broadcasted simultaneously as a special on Pro7. The DVD sold more than 50.000 copies within 4 weeks and got the platin awards. The 'Safari' tour ran until December 2009 - the show has been playing across Germany, Austria and Switzerland every night in front of an audience of 2.000 to 5.900 people!
