Synopsis:
A documentary about and homage to Switzerland's number one national sport: Swiss Alps Wrestling. With a touch of irony, one of Switzerland's best known comedians, Beat Schlatter, travels through the Country to search for the heart and soul of this fascinating sport. On this journey, he becomes a fighter himself. During an entire season he goes to train Swiss Alps Wrestling and, at the end, he fights against a junior wrestler at the National Championship.

A tribute to the number one national sport in Switzerland: Swiss wrestling. Tongue-in-cheek, urbanite and Swiss wrestling novice Beat Schlatter guides the viewer through the film. In search of the soul of wrestling, he takes a closer look at a world that is completely foreign to him, attempting to bridge the gap that divides urban and rural. Along the way, Schlatter immerses himself in the rich history of Swiss wrestling and even becomes a wrestler himself.

An hommage to the national sport of the Swiss: Schwingen Wrestling. Comedian Beat Schlatter should have kept his mouth shut: he claimed being able to beat a young "Schwing Wrestler". Just then, one was standing behind him and challenged him to a duel. Now, he has to start training. He is going to learn a lot about this discipline.
