Synopsis:
Inspired by true events. After time spent at sea, Anton O'Neill returns to find that Ireland is a radically different place to the one he left behind. Northern Ireland is in flames, and civil unrest has spilled south of the border to his beloved home in County Cavan. Blinded by hatred and misguided patriotism, Anton is led into an illicit world of violence and is forced to choose between his family and his country. Hunted and on the run, he is drawn into a shocking battle of wills with the law and his former accomplices, ending in an explosive showdown in which he must risk everything to protect the woman he loves.

When Anton O'Neill returns home after five years at sea, he finds that 1970's Ireland is a radically different place to the one he left behind. The story of Anton a young Irishman returning home to his loving wife Maria and his family after five years at sea. In his absence the troubles in Northern Ireland have worsened and his childhood friend Brendan, persuades him that he must join the cause and fight the British. Very soon he is involved in a brutal murder, but when he tries to abandon the cause, his comrades won't allow it. Whether he likes it or not there is no way back and no way forward.
