Synopsis:

My Place the much loved Australian children's classic, tells the story of the children who live in one place over 130 years. Volume 2 starts in 1948 when we meet Jen whose mum's planning to remarry, but no one is as good as Jen's real dad. In 1938 Colum has two aims: stopping his mate's family from being kicked out of their house and getting up the guts to ride his billy-cart down Brickpits Hill. Then we're introduced to Bridie who just wants to hang out with her sister and be in on big-girl secrets, but a day of harmless fun turns out to be very, very different to her expectations. In 1918 Bertie wants to earn money to buy a present for his brother who's coming home from World War 1. Evelyn's family has their own box of fireworks for Cracker Night. Unfortunately she shows the box to her neighbour - with fiery results. In 1898 Rowley thinks that good deeds get rewarded, so he does everything to help his mother and the other residents in the boarding house. We finish where it all started…in 1888, Victoria and her family have just moved into a new terrace house - she'll do anything to ensure that they stay there forever - including witchcraft.

My Place, based on the award-winning book, My Place, by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins, is a 13-part drama series telling the story of one house in South Sydney told by the children who live there over 130 years.
