Synopsis:
It's either their jobs or their own children. A shocking true story. In 1984, a ruthless corporation based in a Texas town made a humiliating demand of its female workforce: they must choose between children - or their jobs. Because the toxic substances that the women handled in the course of their work might cause defects in an unborn child, the corporation ordered them to undergo compulsory sterilisation or lose their jobs. This is the true story of a crime almost beyond comprehension and the story of Sally Wheeler (Elizabeth Perkins, Big, The Doctor), a woman desperate to have another child, who refused to let her anger die and endured both public humiliation and private heartache in her unrelenting fight for justice.

A factory worker gets an ultimatum from her employer that she agree to be sterilized or be fired.
