Synopsis:

This explosive action thriller, starring Eric Cantona, has a sting in its tail. When Sophie Malaterre (Karine Vanasse - Midnight in Paris, Pan Am) is introduced to Switch.Com by a new friend, she thinks the holiday-home swapping website will be the perfect way to liven up a dull summer. But soon after she arrives at her new apartment in Paris, she realises she made the biggest mistake of her life. A murdered man is found in the guest bedroom, and when Detective Forgeat (Eric Cantona - Looking for Eric, Elizabeth) takes Sophie in for questioning - she finds out she hasn't just swapped houses, she's switched identities. In an attempt to prove her innocence, she goes on the run and it's up to Detective Forgeat to find Sophie before she too turns up dead. But things don't go to plan and, when the body count starts piling up, Forgeat finds himself getting in over his head and operating outside of the law in a bid to save Sophie and hunt down the real killer.

In Montreal, the unemployed fashion designer Sophie Malaterre is summoned by Claire Maras to show her work to her boss. When Sophie arrives in the company, Clare apologizes and tells that her boss is on vacation and will return only two months later. Clare invites Sophie to have lunch with her and tells Sophie about the website switch.com, where it is possible to switch houses with a stranger for vacation. Sophie seeks an apartment in Paris nearby the Eiffel Tower that belongs to Bénédicte Serteaux and they change apartments. Sophie arrives in Paris on Saturday morning and has a dream day riding a bicycle through the touristic area. However, on the next morning, policemen break in the apartment and arrest Sophie while she is having a bath. Detective Damien Forgeat interrogates Sophie believing that she is Bénédicte and she learns that a beheaded body was found in her room. Further, all the evidences of her life has been deleted and she can not prove that she is Sophie.

July 2010, Montreal, Canada. Sophie Malaterre, 25 years old, fashion designer, is not looking forward to the summer holidays. No projects, no friends, no boyfriend Someone tells her about the website SWITCH.com that allows people to switch houses with someone else for a month. Sophie finds, by chance, a duplex in Paris, with view of the Eiffel Tower. Her first day there is idyllic. The next morning, she is woken up by the cops. A decapitated body is in the room next door. She has no way of proving that she isn't Bénédicte Serteaux, the owner of the duplex. The trap closes in on her She hasn't only changed apartments: she's changed bodies and destinies...
