Synopsis:

Johnny Angel sets out to learn who hijacked a gold shipment from his father's ship and killed his father, the captain. He is joined in the search by Paulette, whose own father has been killed by the hijackers.

A merchant marine sailor, played by Raft, comes home from the war and searches for his father's murderer. As he uncovers the mystery, he busts up the local mob.

A sailor investigating his father's disappearance finds that he was murdered while transporting Free French funds to America.
