Synopsis:

Joachim West is as a writer so unsuccessful that in order to escape his financial troubles he stages his own disappearance. But only after sending his masterpiece - on which he worked for the past ten years - to his publisher. Assuming him dead the publisher sees the manuscript as the perfect answer to a predicament: star author Fabian Remarque is struck by a writer's block and is costing the publishing house a lot of money. The decision is made to publish the Joachim's book under Fabian's name.
