Synopsis:

Jeanne (Florence Foresti) is a French voice artist who dubs an American actress in a hit TV series. But one day, the American actress blows a fuse and announces she's retiring from acting for good. As a result, Jeanne's life comes crashing down: no more work, no more income, nothing. Jeanne realises there's only one thing she can do, and it's a hell of a long shot. She takes her destiny in hand and decides to do what on the face of it seems impossible. She's going to Los Angeles to find the American star and convince her to head back on set! Stateside, she initially runs into trouble, but then meets Farres (Jamel Debbouze), who opens doors for her onto the wonderful and sometimes wacky world of Hollywood.

Jeanne is the French dubber for Jennifer Marshall, an American actress who stars in a hit television series. When Marshall goes off the rails and decides to give up acting, Jeanne fears that her own career may also be over. Her only hope is to head off to Los Angeles and try to persuade the disillusioned star to go back to her day job. Jeanne's Hollywood adventure gets off to a bad start, until she meets Farres, who offers her a far more glittering future than she could ever have imagined...

Sometimes, when you think you have it all, everything falls apart. That is exactly the story of Jeanne .Just when she is offered the chance to dub famous American actress Jennifer Marshall in a successful American TV Show and her salary is about to triple, Marshall decides to withdraw from the show. So Jeanne makes a crazy decision, fly to Hollywood herself and make Jennifer change her mind about leaving the series...
