Synopsis:

Small Claims: White Wedding (2005)
In White Wedding we meet Kiara, an insolvency liquidator, Jo's stepsister and the resident bridezilla who ropes Chrissy into catering her wedding when her own brother Sean disappears with a wad of cash intended to pay the caterers. But when Sean's car is found with a body in the boot, Chrissy and Jo feel compelled to investigate, falling foul of the official police investigation.
Their challenge is to get bridezilla down the aisle and solve a murder in which every member of the wedding party is a suspect.

Small Claims: The Reunion (2006)
Two stay-at-home mums, one a part-time cop and the other a solicitor, investigate when the husband of a former classmate dies after a school reunion.

Small Claims is a series of Australian television movies starring Rebecca Gibney and Claudia Karvan, which first aired on Network Ten in 2004. The series was co-production with subscription television and was also broadcast on the Foxtel, Austar, and Optus Television Subscription Television services. The series was written by husband and wife team Keith Thompson and Kaye Bendle. Chrissy (Rebecca Gibney) is 37 and a former solicitor who is trying to care for three kids and develop a catering business in the frequent absences of her high-powered husband. Jo (Claudia Karvan, left) is 30 and an ex-member of the Major Crime Squad who finds herself on the outer after the birth of her son and breakdown of her marriage to a fellow detective.

Working mothers just took on a whole new meaning. They are arguably two of Australia's most talented and in demand actors. They have earned reputations for starring in ground breaking drama and award winning productions.
