Synopsis:
***WARNING***Only 2 Films (Got To Think & My Boss Is Me) contain English subtitles***
In his documentaries Mama Lustig...? and Muss Denken, Austrian filmmaker Niki List offered viewers a look into the life of Christian Polster, a young man dealing with life under the considerable handicap of Down's syndrome. In Mein Boss Bin Ich, List once again checks in on Polster to discover that, at the age of 33, Christian appears to be making some real inroads into his dream of a career in show business. We observe as Polster (with his mother in tow) rehearses with an experimental theater troupe, acts in a short film that he helped to write, and performs a song-and-dance routine he's worked up.

Mama Happy...? (1984)
In this documentary, filmmaker Niki List follows Christian, a teenager with Down's Syndrome, as he spends his usual weekend at home with his family after spending the rest of the week in a special school. Carefully observing Christian as he goes through everyday routines, including small chores around the house, List illustrates how important the family relationships are to him and what his world is like. Never obtrusive, clichéd, or condescending, these views of Christian and his family are a quiet and humane statement on the nature of special relationships.

Got To Think (1992)
Explores the life of a well-adjusted young man with Down's syndrome.

My Boss Is Me (2000)
Third part of a trilogy focusing on the protagonist Christian Polster, who was born with Downs syndrome. Christian is now an adult of thirty-three; the film shows his work with a performance group and his social relationships. It includes a dramatised sequence based on a play written by Christian himself.
