Synopsis:

This is the story of the creation of the Nazi war machine. We trace it's origins from the Freikorps and street thugs battling in the German streets after the Great War, to the secret German army that was trained in the Soviet Union to hide from the prying eyes of the victorious allies. The Army
This documentary details the Nazi Army from the bully boys of the SA Brown Shirts to the glory days of the Panzer Blitzkrieg and the final defeat.

The Air Force
This DVD profiles the German Airforce, its tactics and hardware from the Spanish Civil War to the war over Germany. It also covers the Luftwaffe land forces including the paratroopers, the Herman Goering Panzer Division and the anti-aircraft units.

The Navy
The tactics and hardware of the German navy are presented in this documentary, including the Ocean Raiders, the mighty battleships and the U-Boat war in the Atlantic.

Protection Squadron
This documentary tells the complete history of the SS, from a small paramilitary formation to one of the largest and most powerful organizations in the Nazi Germany. They were the Nazi elite, the party´s Praetorian Guard, with personnel selected on the principles of racial purity and unconditional loyalty to Hitler. This is the story of the black uniformed Allgemeine-SS, which was the political wing of the SS, the military wing, the Waffen-SS, which envolved into a second German army within the Wehrmacht.

Hitler Youth
The Hitler youth was the second oldest paramilitary Nazi group, founded one year after the Sturmabteilung (SA) Stormtroopers. By 1943, Nazi leaders began turning the Hitler youth into a military reserve to draw manpower which had been depleted due to tremendous military losses. That year the 12.SS-Panzer-Division Hitlerjugend was formed. The Division was a fully equipped Waffen-SS panzer division with the majority of the enlisted cadre being drawn from Hitler youth boys between the ages of 16 and 18. During the Battle of Berlin, Axmann's Hitler youth formed a major part in the last line of German defense, and reportedly contained among the fiercest German soldiers.
