Synopsis:
Funeral preparations following the passing of Uncle Pepi, a dyed-in-the wool socialist, lead to the clash between an ideology-free son and his intensely 'red' father in this political satire. When Uncle Pepi's flat is searched for his old party badge in order to pin it to the dearly departed's lapel two generations come to blows. And so begins a fight between ideologies and illusions which reveals both generations far more at odds with themselves than with each other.

After the death of his uncle, Peppi Schober, the legendary trade unionist and zealous crusader of the socialist movement, the deceased's nephew, a man with strong convictions, and his ideologically unbound son decide to make tabula rasa once and for all, squaring up with fifty years of political, contempory and family history, with ideologies, illusions, and most of all with each other.
