Synopsis:

Poetry Slam, avantgarde or mass-market entertainment? This documentary by Marion Hütter ran at the 2012 Berlinale. It follows four modern poet entertainers and goes behind the scenes of the poetry slam circuit. Four stars of the poetry scene travel from one slam competition to the next. In their five-minute slot, they perform in front of enthusiastic audiences. Facial expressions, whining or rapping are all allowed. But despite ambition and talent they can hardly make a living from slamming.
