Synopsis:
Fallacy is the doco/thriller film which was created from a documentary which became more than expected. Detective Steven Harvings was the head detective in the 1999 missing persons case that held a nation as an audience for two weeks. Josh Coplins (who was at the centre of the investigation), along with his partner Rachel Levin and her nephew Cole Levin went missing in 1999 and were never found...speculation at reasons and motives for the disappearance were at the time a talking point and later on became the most talked about topics in history. After the film, Detective Harvings for this interview was called by his former superiors on counts of leaking privileged information... but was cleared as his words were seen only as 'opinion'.

In October 1999, a nation was captivated with the disappearance of Josh Coplins along with Rachel and Cole Levin. After days of interviewing, the re-enactment of their disappearance was filmed. The outcome was nothing anyone had ever thought of.
