Synopsis:
Deadliest Catch (2005)
Deadliest Catch is a reality television series produced by Original Productions for the Discovery Channel. It portrays the real life events aboard fishing vessels in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and C. opilio crab fishing seasons. The Aleutian Islands port of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, is the base of operations for the fishing fleet. The show's title derives from the inherent high risk of injury or death associated with the work.

When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions (2008)
Discovery Channel HD documentary miniseries consisting of six episodes documenting American human spaceflight, spanning from the first Mercury flights through the Gemini program to the Apollo moon landings, the Space Shuttle, and the construction of the International Space Station. It was created in association with NASA to commemorate the agency's fiftieth anniversary in 2008. It first aired on June 8, 2008, and concluded on June 22. Each airing consisted of two hour-long episodes.

Everest: Beyond the Limit (2009)
Everest: Beyond the Limit is a Discovery Channel reality television series about yearly attempts to summit Mount Everest organized and led by New Zealander Russell Brice.

Deadliest Catch (2005)
The series follows life on "the vast Bering Sea" aboard six crab fishing boats during two of the dangerous crab fishing seasons, the October king crab season and the January opilio crab (C. opilio; often referred to as "snow crab" or "opies") season. The show emphasizes the real danger on the decks of these boats to the fishermen who ply their trade onboard (and the Discovery Channel camera crews recording their work) as crews duck heavy crab pots swinging into position, maneuver hundreds of pounds of crab across a deck strewn with hazards (i. e., holding tank hatches, uneven surfaces, maintenance access plates, wet decks), and lean over the rails to position pots for launch or retrieval as gale-force winds and high waves constantly lash over the deck. The series also documents the dangers of being on a boat in the Bering Sea, in the midst of some of the coldest and stormiest waters on earth, where even a minor problem may become complex with the nearest port often hundreds of miles away.

When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions (2008)
The miniseries features interviews from Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle astronauts including John Glenn and Neil Armstrong, as well as NASA officials including flight directors Chris Kraft, Gene Kranz, and Glynn Lunney, former president George H. W. Bush and long-time NBC space journalist Jay Barbree. The series is narrated by actor Gary Sinise, who played astronaut Ken Mattingly in the 1995 film Apollo 13, and executive produced by Richard Dale and Bill Howard, edited by Peter Parnham and Simon Holland.

Everest: Beyond the Limit (2009)
In April and May 2006, eleven determined climbers from all over the world, and one veteran guide, took to the world's tallest peak in an attempt to reach the summit. Partially filmed with cameras mounted to Sherpas' helmets, and two camerapersons who also summited with high-altitude cameras, this six-part production offers an amazing, unflinching look at this incredible expedition through a zeroing in on the experiences of six of the climbers. Packed with plenty of edge-of-your seat intensity and footage with perspectives never before seen, this series is a must-see for HD television fanatics.
