Synopsis:

After 27 years on air this special release looks back over the lifetime of TV's longest running police drama and goes behind the scenes in its final weeks of filming. This DVD contains the very last episode of The Bill that was released in two parts called Respect followed by the special documentary called 'Farewell The Bill'. With exclusive access to the series' final shoot this touching one-off documentary captures the emotion - both tears and laughter - as cast and crew say farewell to the show and film its final ever scenes.

Uniform officers and detectives from Sun Hill police station enforce law and order on a day to day basis. A policeman's job is much more than just catching criminals; in order to survive each day they must deal with frustrating members of the public, and often their own colleagues. From petty thieves to violent drug dealers, life is never easy for the members of the Metropolitan Police Force.

Episodes follow uniform officers and detectives from an inner London police station as they enforce law and order on a day to day basis.
