Synopsis:

The year is 1940, World War II begins to rumble across Europe. Where do the rich, the glamorous, and the dangerous people go to seek refuge from the war? To MONTE CARLO! But once there they don't find peace, instead they find non-stop adventure and intrigue. JOAN COLLINS stars as Katrina, a sensuous, glamorous cabaret singer. She leads a double life, using her charms to obtain war secrets that she passes on to British intelligence. GEORGE HAMILTON co-stars as Harry Price, an American writer who's come to the luxurious gambling capital, hoping for the kind of inspiration that will rekindle his creative flame. LAUREN HUTTON plays Evelyn McIntyre, an American divorcee who is Harry's patron. Katrina and Harry meet and their two lives begin to intertwine. Despite her vow to never fall in love again, romantic tension increases. The drama hurls to a shattering climax as Katrina's underground exploits are discovered and she is cast into a prison cell where she awaits execution. Katrina Petrovna (Joan Collins), a glamorous and internationally famous cabaret singer leads a double life, she uses her sensuous charms to obtain war secrets and passes them to the British intelligence. Harry Price (George Hamilton) is an American Writer with a very bad case of writer's block is vacationing in the gambling capitol of the world with Evelyn McIntyre (Lauren Hutton) a very rich and beautiful American divorcee. Also starring Malcolm McDowell as an Irish mercenary, Peter Vaughan as a German businessman and Gestapo spy, Lisa Elbacher as rich young American and Robert Carradine as an American Pilot.

A made-for-TV miniseries set during World War II, Monte Carlo features a Russian singer (Joan Collins) who works in the French city. She moonlights, however, as an Allied spy to retaliate against the Nazis who murdered her husband.
