Synopsis:
iSOLATE is the story of Scout Taylor, a young woman who returns to the family's remote cattle station after the sudden death of her mother. While working at the property with her ailing father, he disappears. Alone and cut off from all communication, she must face the truth if she is ever to unravel the mystery. "In the aftermath of tragedy, we are haunted." This formed the basis of what writer/director Martyn Park wanted to explore in his new feature film iSOLATE. From the psychological to the elemental, iSOLATE takes a different perspective on the classic haunted house genre by combining elements of minimalist social realism with a more stylized mystery suspense.

A young woman (Jacinta John), returns to her family's remote cattle station after the death of her mother. While working at the property with her ailing father (Terry Serio), he disappears. Alone and cut off from all communication, she must find the courage to face the truth if she is ever to unravel the mystery.

Parallel to the joy and wonderment of life's transience is suffering and horror. No one is immune as it comes packaged within the reality of existence. This reality, not creatures of the night or monsters from the dark, is the true horror.
