Synopsis:
Meg a nice gal from the country who moves to the city and declares her autonomy by buying herself a lovely large jag. Gradually she is forced to acknowledge that this car is making some most uncarlike noises and she attracts unwanted passengers - like the strange woman who gets in and disappears... or the sinister man who persistently watches her every move. Meg dosn't know who they are, all she does know is that they are inextricably linked to the car and that her life is in danger. An engrossing thriller in the Alfred Hitchcock tradition. Mr. Wrong brings edge-of-your-seat suspense to the screen as the plot is diivulged in true thriller/ghost story fashion and makes ample use of its many red herrings, each of which act as a neat ideological kickback

Meg (Heather Bolton) is a typical girl next door beleaguered by a haunted car in this light thriller by director Gaylene Preston. Like most young women, Meg suffers from overprotective parents, at least from her perspective, and as a way to assert her independence she buys a used Jaguar. When odd occurrences in the car seem a little paranormal to Meg, she begins to investigate the Jag's history. Much to her surprise, she discovers that the car's previous owner was murdered. Added to that chilling history is the equally odd Mr. Wrong (David Letch) and a suspicion that she is going to be the next victim.

Meg moves out of her parents' home and buys a beautiful old Jaguar in a bid for independence. She begins to get strange feelings about the car. It seems to have a presence beyond the usual 'personality' attributed to eccentric old cars. Slowly she uncovers the shocking history of the car's previous owner, but not before the car exerts some tragic influence in her life.
