Synopsis:

Pampered movie star Megan Valentine has got it all - fame, fortune and a boyfriend you'd be proud to walk down the red carpet with...That is, until her luck changes and suddenly she's broke, humiliated and even worse, she's in the public eye. She decides it's time to take matters in to her own hands and signs up to the army on a mission to find herself. But when she is shipped off to training camp, she finds out that life in the military is not all camaraderie and sisterhood - it's hard work - and that's something she's never tried before.

Noted genre specialist Steve Miner Lake Placid and Halloween: H20 takes a break from horror to direct Dukes of Hazzard star Jessica Simpson in this showbiz comedy concerning a pampered movie starlet who gets in over her head while attempting to land a lucrative film role. Informed by the producer that she is unfit to appear in an upcoming military-themed film, the ambitious but woefully shortsighted actress enlists in the Marines in hopes that the studio will take notice of her initiative. Though she immediately realizes her mistake upon arriving at Camp Pendleton, the patriotic actress determines to follow through with her plan and do her country proud in the process.

When fluffy, bubble gum movie star Megan Valentine suddenly finds herself broke and humiliated in the public eye, she wanders from the wreckage of a car accident and witlessly enlists in the U.S. Army hoping in vain that it will change her life.
