Synopsis:
All eight episodes of the much-loved BBC mini-series adapted from the best-selling book by James Fenimore Cooper. Set in upstate New York during Britain's so-called French and Indian War in 1757, the series follows the heroic adventures of Natty 'Hawkeye' Bumppo (Kenneth Ives) and his Indian companions Chingachgook (John Abineri) and Uncas (Richard Warwick), Chingachgook's son and the true last of the Mohican tribe. Widely regarded as the best adaptation.

During the French-Indian War, Cora and Alice Munro, with Major Heyward, intend to join their father at Fort William Henry, but their Indian guide may not be as trustworthy as he seems.
Part 2 S1, Ep2 2 Apr. 1972
Hawkeye and the Mohicans lead the Munro party to temporary shelter, but Magua and his Hurons are hot in pursuit and the shelter may become a death-trap.
Part 3 S1, Ep3 9 Apr. 1972
After capturing Major Heyward, the Munro daughters and David Gamut, Magua makes his intentions known to Cora and tells her of the price her father must pay.
Part 4 S1, Ep4 16 Apr. 1972
Cora and Alice are at last reunited with their father, but Fort William Henry is under siege by the French, Hawkeye and the Mohicans have been captured by the Hurons and help for either may not arrive in time.
