Synopsis:
Electrician Dave Rafter and his wife, Julie, expected the house would feel empty and quiet as their children become adult. Although Ben is eager to move out, even when he gets his dream as he buddy, neighbor 'Carbo', starts minding his parents' house, Ben keeps raiding the fridge, dropping laundry and asking advice and help. His sister Rachel is a hopeless screw-up in every sense, unable to finish anything. Firstborn Nathan actually gets a good real estate agency job and a rich, devoted partner, but even they face misfortune leading to the couple moving in with Dave.

Centres around Dave and Julie Rafter and their three children Rachel, Ben and Nathan. On the eve of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary the couple thinks that they are finally about to have the house to themselves. But home is a very welcome refuge for their children and when unforeseen problems loom, they return like a boomerang.
