Synopsis:

Seven candidates. One job. How far would you go? During an anti-globalisation protest, seven candidates are assembled for the final stage of the selection process for a single high level position at a multinational company. The tension becomes palpable when they realise they must compete against one another in a ruthless new American HR test known as the Grnholm Method. Their first challenge is to identify a corporate mole in their midst-and eject them. As the questioning turns accusative, vicious and humiliating, no one knows who to trust, what their next challenge will be, or how far they will have to go. Based on an acclaimed play, and featuring a stellar cast of Spanish and Argentine actors, The Method is an intelligent thriller about the suspicion, paranoia, and betrayal at the heart of corporate politics.

Madrid. Seven hopeful applicants for a top executive job attend a selection procedure for staff for a multinational company in a skyscraper in offices in the Paseo de la Castellana. After a labyrinth of forms, accreditations and other business red tape the seven participants find themselves together in a cold room where the secretary has taken them to wait for the selection procedure to begin. After warily introducing themselves to each other they wonder if they are being observed by cameras and why the company has infiltrated a psychologist among them who is already examining them. One of the applicants mentions a method of tests, similar to the one they suggested, which is practised in the United States to decide which of them has the profile which fits in the best with the requirements of the fierce business world..

During IMF & World Bank Summit and demonstrations which upset Madrid, like other capitals, major corporation Dekia holds interviews to recruit a top executive from seven applicants. Their doubts start when they have to sign a clause accepting the Grönholm method, which nobody ever heard of. It soon becomes clear the tests are dirty mind games, but never what is true and what the trick. They must guess who among them is the HR mole, and repeatedly eliminate one of their number from the procedure. Their priorities, ethics and loyalty are put trough stressing tests.
