Vampires (2010)
Belgium's vampire community invites a documentary crew to film one of their families: husband, wife, and two teen children - Georges, Bertha, Sampson, and Grace. The teens have problems: Sampson wants to sleep with the community leader's wife (the only sexual taboo) and Grace wears pink and wants to be human. The family eats (they keep a young woman for snacks, and the police drop off immigrants for them), visits their community school, chats with a coffin maker, goes to parties, and looks down their nose at a childless vampire couple who live in their basement. We learn of the vampire code, forced exile in Canada, and the fate of the Sampson and Grace.

Somewhere Between Here and Now (2009)

Convinced Stalinist Bolshevik Igor Yaboutich prepares the most daring coup ever: destroying the Christian West. He decides to use the most powerful weapon of mass destruction there is: the atomic bomb! We are in Charleroi, renamed Karminsky-Grad, the city where he'll work out this dark plan. In the nuclear arms factory, the sinister bosses Vladimir Karminsky and Reinhard Heydrich rule with an iron fist. They ruthlessly suppress their employees. This results in a workers revolt, followed by the killing of their oppressors. Chaos rapidly grows. The situation gets out of hands and seems beyond control for the Chinese, Arab, Russian and German leaders, whom are all united against the Americans. Only Igor Yaboutich survives in this city of madness. Will he start a new World War?

Since adolescence, and with incredible enthusiasm, they have managed to produce over thirty low-budget movies in which they often have played the main characters themselves. Their movies are not only the sum of their fears and desires, but also a way of projecting an image of themselves towards their own community and the outside world. But a lot has changed since adolescence... When one of them decides to radically change his life, their friendship and the future of their common cinema goals are threatened. Can the group survive this crisis or have they outgrown each-other?
