Synopsis:

In Great British Ghosts, Michaela Strachan travels around England & Wales to visit the spookiest locations the nation has to offer, uncovering the gems of Britain s haunted history. From Glastonbury s infamous George & Pilgrims hotel where monks wander its corridors at night, to the magnificent medieval Berkeley Castle to visit the cell which imprisoned King Edward ll. Michaela also travels to the Clearwell Caves, which is home to a mysterious ghostly miner. During her stay in the Cotswolds, she visits Wooton Under Edge s Ancient Ram Inn, which is said to be the scariest place in the country. This series also sees her travel to Essex where the former Witches prison, known as The Cage in St Osyth is based. Then it s on to Pendle Hill in Lancashire, the scene of the famous Witch trials in 1612, before travelling to Blackpool s haunted Grand Theatre and Pleasure Beach. Finally, she heads to Derby where she visits the Derby Gaol and the ancient tunnels beneath the Guildhall.
