Synopsis:
Young Romance is a 1915 American silent romance film directed and produced by George Melford. The film is based on the play of the same name by William C. deMille who also wrote the screenplay. Edith Taliaferro, who made only three films in her career, stars in this film which is the only one of her films that still exists.

Young Romance, released in 1915, is a recent rediscovery that forever silences the claim that refined comedy cannot be conveyed via the screen. This disguise plot, worthy of an Elizabethan drama, was written by William deMille (brother of Cecil, father of Agnes), and directed by George Melford ("The Sheik," the Spanish "Dracula").

Two young clerks in a department store meet and fall in love during a seaside vacation in Maine, but part as strangers because, unknown to each other, both had been masquerading as upper-class 'swells', just to see how the better half lives.
