Synopsis:
Ole (Jacob Matschenz) lives in the northeastern corner of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. His life consists of motorbike races with his buddies (Kostja Ullmann, Pit Bukowski). Nothing would ever change, had not his grandfather Karl secured an internship for Ole in Berlin - without his grandson knowing it! Ole is supposed to stay with his cousin Rokko (Klaas Heufer-Umlauf). But Rokko is not at all happy to welcome Ole because his dad Manni (Tobias Moretti) has been feuding with the rest of the family for decades. But then Ole falls in love with the fresh and crazy Fritzi (Jytte-Merle Böhrnsen) when they are making out on the backseat of a stolen car. But soon the big city ride comes to an abrupt halt when the phone rings: Grandpa Karl is dead! Uncle Manni, Rokko, Fritzi and Ole go on the road to attend the funeral. Worlds collide when Ole realizes that a kiss in the country is not a declaration of love in the big city. Still events develop in an unexpected way: Cousin Rokko turns out to be real friend! With a load of buckshot in their behinds and love in their hearts they finally manage what Grandpa Karl always had wished for. But will Ole be able to win Fritzi's heart?

Ole Schneider lives in a German village in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with his parents Heinz and Lotte. He and his two friends can think of nothing more wonderful than racing down country roads on their motor bikes. However, Grandfather Karl decides that Ole should go to Berlin to work as an apprentice artist making calendars in an agency. He can stay with his cousin Rocco and Rocco's father, Uncle Manni. Rocco wears a navy uniform and works as a guide near the Spree River. As a country bumpkin, Ole must adjust to sleeping on the couch in close contact with his free-living relatives. (Rocco thinks nothing of shaving private parts in front of an audience and saying things like, 'The best time to talk is when the doctor is fishing buckshot out of one's ass.') Ole falls for a neighbor girl, Fritzi, who teaches him how to break into locked cars and, also, that love is temporary. Unfortunately, Grandfather Karl dies, and the relatives must gather for his funeral. This is difficult in that Karl's sons, brothers Manni and Heinz, haven't spoken for 20 years, all because they were in love with the same girl: Manuela, the mother of Rocco. She left the picture to go to India years ago. This forced meeting was Karl's plan all along - an attempt to reunite the family.

A story about a chaotic family, real friendship and the first true love! A young man from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern provincial backwater is forced by his family to absolve a practical training in Berlin and to live with his cousin.
