Synopsis:
Eric, an established reporter, and Leila his companion, rediscover the vital sensations of desire and social commitment. When Eric learns that he has leukemia, and that his cells are replicating like wild grass, the impatient man becomes a patient. During this period of emptiness, our hero converses with Ankou, while sweeping the floor in his Brittany house, tries to make love on the sly in his hospital room, and broods about this hideous crab inside him that makes sexuality and memory disintegrate. He remembers the scenes experienced by the reporter he once was. Without pathos, he offers his offbeat, often poetic view of this journey to the land of globules.

The worst thing is not death, not disappearing forever - but to remain in the world of the living, surrounded by family and friends. Eric learns that he has leukemia, and abruptly, with no warning, his life is turned upside down. His work, his commitments, all must be put aside, even forgotten. With his memory disintegrating, he begins to resemble a zombie. By his side, Leïla starts down a long path where little by little she rediscovers, together with Eric, the vital sensations of desire and social commitment.
