Speed Walking (2014) Martin (14) is forced to deal with confused sexuality and the loss of a mother in a provincial setting in the mid-seventies, where the famed Danish liberation of porn has had its influence on the grownups.
Dead Man Down (2013)In New York City, a crime lord's right-hand man is seduced by a woman seeking retribution.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009)A journalist is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing - or dead - for forty years by a young female hacker.
Worlds Apart (2008) The daughter of a Jehovah's Witness is forced to choose between religion and love when she falls for someone outside her faith.
We Shall Overcome (2006) A drama about a boy who's inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and challenges repressive school authority in 1969 Denmark.
Chop Chop (2001) Dennis and Carl are brothers who live on a small farm in the Danish countryside. None too bright, Dennis wants a girlfriend for Christmas.

Speed Walking (2014)
In a quirky, small town, situated in the outskirts of everything, 14-year-old Martin is getting ready for one of the most formal transitions from boy to man; the communion. It's 1976, music's in the air and hormones are blossoming. But in the midst of it all Martin's mother suddenly passes away and her tragic death trickers a series of events that not only changes Martin's life forever, but also affects everyone else in the local community. Overwhelmed with grief neither Martin's dad, nor his older brother, is capable to comfort Martin. He enters adulthood in a mixture of drunken happiness and immense sadness over the loss of his mother, and his relationship to both his friend Kim and girlfriend Kristine comes to its natural conclusion.
Dead Man Down (2013)
Victor, a rising gangland player, has infiltrated the crime empire run by ruthless kingpin Alphonse, with the single purpose of making Alphonse pay for destroying his once happy life. As he meticulously orchestrates his vengeance from his high-rise home, Victor watches and is watched by Beatrice, a mysterious young woman who lives in the apartment across from his. On the surface a fragile woman-child, Beatrice seethes with a rage of her own. When she uncovers Victor's dark secrets, she threatens to expose him unless he helps her carry out her own campaign of retribution. Each fixated on avenging the past, they devise a violent and cathartic plan that could change their worlds forever.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009)
Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle suspects murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist and the tattooed, ruthless computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate. When the pair link Harriet's disappearance to a number of grotesque murders from almost forty years ago, they begin to unravel a dark and appalling family history; but, the Vangers are a secretive clan, and Blomkvist and Salander are about to find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves.
Worlds Apart (2008)
Sara and her family proudly belong to Jehovah's Witnesses. In the local community they go from door to door and preach on Judgment Day and eternal salvation for Jehovahs chosen ones. But when Sara falls in love with Teis, she is confronted with her most difficult choice in life. Teis is not a Witness, yet their love grows through stolen, secret meetings. Sara is torn between her conscience, faith and passion, forced to make a choice between her love and her family that are worlds apart.
We Shall Overcome (2006)
The year is 1969. Frits, a thirteen year old boy has fallen out of favour with his headmaster. The world is changing rapidly and corporal punishment has been banned. The tyrannical headmaster, however, hasn't bothered to notice. Frits spends his summer holidays watching the family's first television, and is influenced by the winds of change. Martin Luther King's speeches and dreams of a better life have armoured Frits with courage and the desire for rebellion. The story is based on actual events.
Chop Chop (2001)
Coal black farce plays like a cross between 'Dumb & Dumber', 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre' and 'Mifune'. The story of two dimwitted brothers and their troubles with a corpse, a nosy neighbor and a pregnant waitress is pretty thin, but director Oplev tries to compensate with off-the-wall gags and gross-out humor, which sometimes work, sometimes doesn´t. The cast is game, and obviously has a whale of a time, and there are a couple of genuine belly-laughs.
Portland (1996)
About a group of anti-social young people who deal in drugs - terrorising elderly and sick members of the community out of subscription drugs ordered through the health service. Janus and Jakob, two brothers just out of prison and reform school respectively, become couriers for the gang.
