Synopsis:

The Chasers (1959)
Two men attracted to the same woman are attending a trip with her in the Mountains during the bird hunting season. A triangular love drama ending with tragedy. Or is it, really?
Remonstrance (1972)
A meta-film about a film and the common man in our own political reality. A reality that is just scenes of a film without any cinematic development, but which might be plain reality tomorrow.

The Chasers (1959)
This is a film about the eternal triangle - two men - one woman. Bjørn is married to Guri and Knut is their mutual friend. Knut is the younger, dominated by his strong friend. They leave for a hunting-trip in the autumn and the drama develops between them - they shall fight about Guri.
Remonstrance (1972)
The ordinary man, what matter does he play in politics? Is he put off, or above it? Is he implements or Victim? Our daily life, is it a life we live regardless of political life? What is reality? The thousands of small and big things we daily see around us, or is it that we see not, will not look, do not dare look? What is tomorrow's reality? What happens to people in a state of emergency? When we are forced to play our roles as agents / victims in a political power play? What happens with actors who are forced to play such roles in a movie? What happens with the movie? This is a film about a film where no pre-action development is where the program is a series of specific situations that currently only scenes in a movie, but that may be reality tomorrow.
