Synopsis:

A coming of age comedy. Desperate to get out from under her over protective mother, Bethany (Ashley Rickards) is a home-schooled teen who runs off to live with her gay dad, Dale (Diedrich Bader). She forms a strong bond with her dad's much younger boyfriend, Chip (Haley Joel Osment) who opens her eyes to the real world, but with her dad's self loathing and alcoholic outbursts, Bethany finds solace selling clothes at a trendy retail chain. She soon learns it is a cut throat game but sees a chance to break free and enrolls with a fashion institution to give her a brighter future.

Desperate to get out from under her overprotective mother, a home-schooled teen runs off to live with her dad, and forms a bond with his much-younger boyfriend.
