Synopsis:

Robert Storm Petersen (1882-1949) was as versatile as he was diligent. Therefore, his production figures, drawings, paintings, cartoons, comics and stories an inexhaustible source of joy and wonder. Hardly any other Dane - apart from Hans Christian Andersen - has contributed so much to the folk wisdom and linguistic renewal as Storm P. Director Jørgen Vestergaard brought to life cartoon characters Peter and Ping who lived in Storm's desk from 1922 to 1949, and got them to talk about their lives with the artist and private man. Robert Storm Petersen's daily newspaper cartoons stimulated our laughter muscles, but he was also a social critic, philosopher and serious painter.
