Synopsis:

Therefore, the UN organization UNESCO in 1972 began designating sites that belong to the world. These locations are known as the World Heritage sites, and they come in three types. "Cultural Heritage" concerns mainly historical sites and building complexes. "Natural Heritage" is about natural phenomena and regions that derive their value from aesthetic or scientific evidence or sheer rarity. And "Cultural Landscapes" are defined as locations where man and nature together have created something extraordinary.
