Synopsis:
The Woman in White (1997)
Two half-sisters try to learn more about a mysterious woman after they see her on the grounds of their uncle's house.

Sense & Sensibility (2008)
Widow Dashwood and her three unmarried daughters, Elinor, Marianne and Margaret, inherit only a tiny allowance. So they move out of their grand Sussex home to a more modest cottage in Devonshire. There, the prevailing ambition is to find suitable husbands for the girls. With help from wealthy neighbor Sir John Middleton, suitors for Elinor and Marianne are soon found, but not landed. They include dashing Willoughby, future vicar Edward Ferrars and retired colonial gentleman Colonel Brandon.

The Woman in White (1997)
Based upon Wilkie Collins Victorian mystery, the gothic tale tells of a pair of half sisters whose lives end up caught in a grand conspiracy revolving around a mentally ill woman dressed in white. As the story unfolds, murder, love, marriage, and greed stand between the two women and happy lives. Their only hope is the secret the woman in white waits to tell them.

The year is 1675. England is threatened by religious and political rivalries. The Buccaneers (1995)
In the 1870s, four young American girls go to England for the social season. All are from newly wealthy families and all have had difficulties being accepted into New York society. With the help of British governess Laura Testvalley, they navigate the ins and outs of British society and aristocracy. All of the girls eventually marry into British society with Nan, the youngest of the group, becoming a Duchess. Not all find happiness however.
Persuasion (2007)
Royal Navy captain Wentworth was haughtily turned down eight years ago as suitor of pompous baronet Sir Walter Elliot's daughter Anne, despite true love. Now he visits their former seaside country estate, rented by his brother-in-law, admiral Croft, so the financially stressed baronet can afford a fashionable, cheaper residence in trendy Bath. First the former lovers meet again on the estate, where they feel vibes again, but neither dares admit them until it seems too late. Yet the truth becomes clear, both have moved, but meet again in Bath.

Colonel Brandon wounds but spares Willoughby, who married heiress Grey, in a duel. Later Brandon explains that while he was in colonial India, the doc seduced his first love in England and abandoned here with a daughter, now fifteen. Elinor is heartbroken herself that Edward Ferrars is engaged to Miss Lucy Steele. His haughty mother disinherits him in favor of elder brother Edward after sister Anne betrays that engagement. But new turns of events bring both sisters unexpected fortune.
