Synopsis:

Chino Valdez is a loner horse breeder living in the old west. Partly a loner by choice, and partly because, being a 'half-breed', he finds himself unwelcome almost everywhere he goes. One day, a young runaway named Jimmy shows up at his door looking for work and a roof over his head. Reluctantly, Chino agrees to take him in and teach him the art of raising, breaking and breeding horses, until the pair finally begin to accept each other.

Chino Valdez is a half breed horse breeder. One day, a runaway teen called Jamie shows up at Chino's ranch and is sheltered by him. They learn to work and live together. But problems arise when one of Chino's horses is cut to shreds on the barbed wire fence of a local cattleman. When Chino confronts the cattleman about this, by charging in the house, he finds the cattleman's beautiful half sister. They soon fall in love but this doesn't sit well with the cattleman.

Chino Valdez (Bronson) is a lonely horse breeder, whose life is thrown into turmoil when a young runaway (Van Patten) turns up at his door looking for work and, later, he falls in love with a beautiful woman (Ireland) whose brother (Bozzuffi) hates him.
