Synopsis:

The combined casts include Tony Britton, Patricia Routledge and future Oscar winner David Parfitt, with several episodes written by Wendy Craig; both series are produced and directed by distinguished sitcom veteran Peter Frazer-Jones. Newly-widowed mother Sally Harrison is trying to hold down a job as an assistant to Mr Campbell, a veterinarian. Her children are Simon and Peter, and her aunt Flo tries to help. She has an occasional love interest in the form of widower David Redway, an antique bookseller who has a daughter, Jane.
And Mother Makes Five (1974)
And Mother Makes Five is basically the same as ...And Mother Makes Three with domestic problems being the centre of the programme. The children are now older, but as troublesome as before. There are new characters in the form of Joss and Monica Spencer, and Mrs Fletcher.
