Synopsis:
An exclusive bundle of the very best Last of The Summer Wine moments in this 7-DVD pack. Series 1-2 - Three old men from Yorkshire who have never grown up face the trials of their fellow town citizens and everyday life. Series 3-4 - The programme deals with the second childhood of a group of aging delinquents. Three elderly delinquents (Bill Owen, Peter Sallis, and Brian Wilde) have a series of wacky misadventures as they enjoy their retirement. The envy of their hen-pecked married friends, they embark on mischievous stunts as if in their second childhood. Old age never seemed so much fun!

Last of the Summer Wine - Series 1 & 2
All 13 episodes from the first two series of Roy Clarke's popular comedy set in the Yorkshire Dales. In 'Short Back and Palais Glide' the friends go in search of Compo's key. 'Inventor of the Forty Foot Ferret' sees Blamire try to get Compo into church. 'Pate and Chips' has the gang spend a day out at a stately home. 'Spring Fever' finds Compo indulging in carnal fantasies about Nora Batty. 'The New Mobile Trio' sees Clegg and friends taking to the road in their new £30 car. 'Hail Smiling Morn or Thereabouts' has Blamire rekindle his interest in photography. In 'Forked Lightning' Clegg needs to fix his bike. 'Who's That Dancing with Nora Batty?' sees Compo sweeping the wrinkly-stockinged one off her feet. 'The Changing Face of Rural Blamire' has the unholy trio launch a window cleaning service. 'Some Enchanted Evening' finds Compo pursuing his one true love when Wally Batty goes away. 'A Quiet Drink' sees Compo, Blamire and Clegg attempt to squeeze a round of drinks out of Mouse. 'Ballad for Wind Instruments and Canoe' has the trio embark upon a canoe expedition, Finally, in 'Northern Flying Circus', Compo dons goggles and helmet to become the new Barry Sheen.
Last of the Summer Wine - Series 3 & 4
All 15 episodes from series 3 and 4 of Roy Clarke's popular comedy set in the Yorkshire Dales. In 'The Man from Oswestry', Clegg (Peter Sallis) and Compo (Bill Owen) meet war hero Foggy Dewhurst (Brian Wilde) for the first time and a new friendship is formed. In 'Mending Stuart's Leg', Stuart (Reginald Barratt) has a strange click in his knee, which seems to be infectious. 'The Great Boarding House Caper' is the first in a two-part story where the protagonists travel to Scarborough for the weekend, a story that is concluded in 'Cheering Up Gordon' where the boys try to tutor Gordon (Philip Jackson) in how to chat up girls.'The Kink in Foggy's Niblick' features Foggy attempting to hob-nob with the nobs at a golf club. In 'Going to Gordon's Wedding', Big Malcolm (Paul Luty) turns up at Gordon's wedding, causing all sorts of problems. 'Isometrics and After', the final episode in series 3, sees Foggy deciding that Comp and Clegg are not as fit as they ought to be. A bit of 'isometrics' should soon sort them out... 'Ferret Come Home' sees one of Compo's ferrets escaping and moving into Nora Batty's (Kathy Staff) house. Can Wally (Joe Gladwin) save the day? In 'Getting On Sidney's Wire', Sid (John Comer), who is trying to install a new bell for the door of the cafe, makes the mistake of asking for the help of Compo, Clegg and Foggy. 'Jubilee' sees Foggy arranging a float for the Silver Jubilee celebrations. In 'Flower Power Cut', Clegg becomes convinced he can communicate with plants, while 'Who Made a Bit of a Splash in Wales Then?' sees Foggy romancing a Welsh widow. In 'Greenfingers', Foggy, Compo and Clegg set out to save the British vegetable. In 'A Merry Heatwave', Foggy decides to film a Yorkshire Christmas for Nora Batty's brother, who lives in Australia. However, it is the middle of the summer. Finally, in 'The Bandit from Stoke-on-Trent', Foggy suspects that Amos (Timothy Bateson) has a villainous plan up his sleeve, and decides to seize the moment.

Three old men from Yorkshire who have never grown up face the trials of their fellow town citizens and everyday life and stay young by reminiscing about the days of their youth and attempting feats not common to the elderly.
