Synopsis:

Glover (Pete Postlethwaite) is a shadow of the man he was. Once a handsome playboy, he is now confined to the luxurious prison of his hotel suite, trapped in a useless body, tormented by the memory of how it used to be. Chris (Antoine Kamerling) is an irresistible young hustler with a sideline in casual violence. On the run from the latest crime, he stumbles into Glover's suite to take refuge. Both men realise the other has something to offer, but slowly the balance shifts as Glover manipulates Chris into acting out his long-held sexual fantasies. What begins as a game soon becomes a dangerous battle, as Glover pushes Chris into ever more bizarre challenges, culminating in a murder attempt on a young woman (Geraldine Pailhas), who has plans to turn the tables on both of them. Suite 16 is a dark and erotic thriller about manipulation and deceit, which is the first film from writer Charles 'The Fast Show' Higson.

An ego-maniacal, manipulative, man uses a young gigolo to enact the fantasies he is too sick to perform in this thriller set in a hotel penthouse on the French Riviera. Chris is the young Dutch gigolo who preys on wealthy older women at the hotel. Glover the wealthy, wheelchair bound gent who lives in the hotel's top floor suite. Chris, thinking he killed his last customer while haggling for money, bursts into Glover's suite to hide. The old man not only lets Chris stay in the spare room, he also wines, dines, and supplies a series of beautiful call girls to the young man. It is only later that Chris discovers that his 'benefactor' is video-taping his sexploits. Appalled, Chris wants to leave. Glover makes him a new offer: he will pay Chris an incredible amount of money to find a beautiful woman and kill her. Chris agrees and chooses Helen, who works in a perfumery. Helen is lucky, figures it out, and thwarts Chris, but when she must deal with Glover, her luck runs out. As the credits roll, the song 'Sweet Sixteen' is played.

The disabled Glover asks gigolo Chris to bring out his erotic fantasies. Chris accepts the offer in exchange for a lot of money, and dives in bed with women in suite 16 while Glover watches. But then something goes horribly wrong.
