Synopsis:
Colombia has been ravaged by corruption, drug cartels and guerrilla warfare for decades. But the fearless politician and philosopher Antanas Mockus brings hope for change - using pencils, balloons, flash mobs and mimes. A young woman, Katherin Miranda, falls in love with his project - but she realizes that the road to true change in a country like Colombia is harder than she had ever imagined. And in a dramatic turn of events, Antanas Mockus' unique personality and political philosophy comes to play an important part in Colombia's journey towards peace. Director Andreas Dalsgaard spent five years following Antanas Mockus. The result is an inspiring and engaging story of how even against apparently insurmountable odds, change can happen.

The fearless Colombian philosopher-politician-teacher Antanas Mockus and his followers struggle for peace in a country with the longest running internal conflict in the world. This is a story about 4 years and a life time that changed a country. And how learning to lose patiently might make you win.

Violence is a fact of everyday life in Colombia, where the drug cartels have kept the country in an armed conflict for decades, and where almost all families have lost a loved one.
