Synopsis:

Family: The directors, who are also partners, take a journey in pursuit of Sami's father, who abandoned his Danish family when Sami was very young. Before this ambitious film project started, Sami's beloved brother committed suicide, then his mother died, leaving Sami alone and grief-stricken. This film is a personal and compelling drama filled with humour and strong emotions. Mothers of Life: Anastasia Lapsui and Markku Lehmuskallio profile members of a family in northern Russia, then revisit them nine years later. Boogie Woogie Daddy: About a son who, in his father's folder of negatives, finds love, despair and reconciliation with a painful memory. The father's suicide and the great emptiness that followed. A journey among the 3000 negatives that the father left behind him. My Body: Who creates the image of yourself? Why do we hate our bodies? Margreth Olin uses her own body, without a thread to find out why her self image has been ruined. Who hangs the laundry?: About washing, war and electricity in Beirut, and about the aftermath of war ... Icelandic filmmaker Hrabba Gunnarsdo?ttir and the Lebanese human rights advocate Tina Naccache 'collide' in Tina's Beirut apartment on washing day. Plagued by the lack of water and electricity as a result of the wars, Tina describes the gymnastics of doing the laundry. As we watch Tina scrub the filmmaker's pants and ... move through ... her home, her non-conformist and articulate views on feminism, war and servitude are revealed
