Synopsis:
In the 1840s, trappers with government backing push the Yellow Hands Sioux off their sacred land; they retreat into an apocalyptic spirituality, passively waiting for supernatural wrath to descend on their usurpers. Meanwhile, in England, Lord John Morgan feels his spirit weaken, so he returns to America to live again with the Yellow Hand. Finding them dispirited, he invigorates them as well as himself through self-imposed torture and other rituals. Once he convinces the clan to take direct action, Horse must devise a strategy to take the trappers' fort. The clan's women and boys take on special assignments to aid the assault to regain the sacred land.

Western picture following the plight of a horribly wronged tribe of Sioux Indians - and the quest of the one man who would lead them to victory. Lord John Morgan (Richard Harris), disillusioned with the 'civilised' aristocracy of England, returns to the American West in search of the vital and rugged life he once led. But finding only destruction, the only way for the Yellow Hand tribe to fight back lies with Morgan, a man they call Horse.

In this sequel to A Man Called Horse, Richard Harris is back as a blue-blooded Englishman who returns to America to help the Indians who had once adopted him. Seeing their lands being taken over by greedy whites, he joins forces with the Sioux tribe to help them defend their birthborn rights.
