Synopsis:

Nina is floating on cloud nine, shes in love with Dr Patrick Reid and content in her job but blissfully unaware that she is about to face one of the biggest challenges of her life is she a Proudman? Meanwhile, Billie and Mick are married and ecstatically happy, but what does the future hold? Will they try to fall pregnant again? Will the youngest of the Proudman family, Jimmy, finally get his life together and grow up? Join the Proudman family and friends as they face the answers to these questions in their search for love, balance and fulfilment in the adventure of life. Is there ever a happy ever after?

Eighteen months on and Nina has been in a relationship with dedicated midwife Leo, who is a colleague of hers at St Francis. Billie has been managing husband Mick's tour in the UK and youngest sibling Jimmy runs his busy Mexican taqueria while his wife Zara undertakes the gruelling challenge of studying for a medical degree. As ever, drama and romantic chaos are never far from Nina's door. This season she must manage a whole new onslaught of mishaps and revelations, as well as unprecedented professional and personal trials that will see Nina, Billie and the Proudman clan tested as never before. When a tragedy brings the family back together, the stability of life unravels, forcing them once again to question what they thought they knew about themselves and the past - and changing the dynamics of the family forever.
