Synopsis:
Drama set in rural Northumberland during the 1830s. After the death of her parents, 16-year-old Cissie Brodie fights to keep her five younger brothers and sisters from the workhouse. When they are evicted from their tied cottage, they take refuge in a cave on the moors.
