Synopsis:

Sixteen-year-old Alice Palmer drowns while swimming in the local dam, near the town of Ararat. After she is laid to rest, she begins to mysteriously appear in the background of photos and video footage. Profoundly unsettled, the Palmers seek the help of a psychic who uncovers the mystery of Alice's life. LAKE MUNGO is a thriller and a ghost story told in documentary style that shows how the dead can forever haunt the living.

When a teenager drowns in a country weird, inexplicable things start to happen and a para-psychologist is called in to investigate. In the style of an investigative documentary, a disquieting study of grief and a disturbing tale of the uncanny is revealed.

Supernatural thriller. After Alice drowns in a lake near her family's home, ghostly images start appearing in photographs taken by her brother Mathew. Mathew then tries to capture the phenomenon on video.
