Synopsis:
Drums Along the Mohawk: In Revolutionary America, Gil Martin takes his new wife Lana back to his farm in upstate New York. The area is remote and a distance from the fort but they are happy living in their one room cabin. With the declaration of independence, the settlers soon find themselves at war with the British and their Indian allies. Their farm is burned out and the Martins take work with Sarah McKlennar. The war continues however as the Martins try to make a new life. Sitting Bull: Chief Sitting Bull of the Sioux tribe is forced by the Indian-hating General Custer to react with violence, resulting in the famous Last Stand at Little Bighorn. Parrish, a friend to the Sioux, tries to prevent the bloodshed, but is court- martialed for 'collaborating' with the enemy. Sitting Bull, however, manages to intercede with President Grant on Parrish's behalf. War Drums: Mexican girl Riva comes between two friends, Apache chief Mangas and trader Fargo, both of whom love the girl. She weds Mangas to the disappointment of Fargo and the dismay of Mangas's tribe. Fargo brokers peace between the Apache and the white settlers, but unscrupulous gold-hunters trigger war. It is up to Fargo to prevent a bloodbath. Comanche: Indian scout Jim Read is picked by his commander to set up a meeting between Comanche Chief Quanah Parker and a representative from Washington to negotiate a peace treaty. People from the Comanche tribe as well as the US Calvary have reason to prevent the meeting from ever taking place. Romance, betrayal and fighting ensue.
