Synopsis:

This film focuses particularly on the man, his career, and, in counterpoint, his work and writings. In an interview with the art critic Guy Tortosa, we discover all the facets of the artist, from his first paintings to the "columns" installed in the main courtyard of the Palais Royal, as well as the "cabanes e?clate?es" (explosed cabins), closed-open structures in which the concepts of time and space are lost. To illustrate these words, the filmmaker accompanies the artist in the three major exhibitions devoted to him in 2000 and confronts him with his works.
